Try Torrid. I love their styles. Also, Liz Claiborne makes plus sized clothing. The line is called Liz and is available at most nicer department stores. (Dillards, Nordstrom). I like Dress Barn, but you have to be careful. Some of their styles are a little more ‘mature’, but you kind find some really cute stuff in there if you look. Just make sure you look for tops that have seaming and darts that give you some curves. If they don’t have that, you can end up looking like a box.

Nordstrom has a womens department … they are great staff to work with . the will let you try all thing on / make suggestions … you get a fitter to go in fittign room and make any alterations that are needed to the clothing to fit you best . sleeves / shoulders / hem lines / hips / fit better than just buying knowing what fits right .

i would get at least one good suit - prefer jacket , skirt and a pants. 3 piece womens suit. let them know it’s for a job interview. this will be enough to get through a couple interviews. these women will keep your name / let you know when things go on sale . you come in and try it on early they will hold and ring up on the day the sale comes . they know your style ,the thinks you will want and they call when new stock comes in .
    It’s amazing … the staff at Nordstrom’s.

Evans are very good, despite their slightly frumpy image, the product is really fashion-led.

I second what all the women on here have said, but also try M&S and Dorothy Perkins. Although they aren’t specifically plus-size shops they do sell up to size 22. Debenhams also has launched a nice bigger size range called Gorgeous.

I noticed in Matalan that they have a range for size 18+ which looked quite trendy. I’m not that size but keep an eye out for my mates. Also, the advantage of matalan is it is VERY cheap so you can chop and change with the fashions.
